At Rise Now Foundation, we believe that real rehabilitation starts before release and continues with hands-on support from day one. Our Pre & After Release Engagement service ensures no one walks out of prison alone—meeting offenders inside prison, at the prison gate, and throughout their journey to reintegration.

1. Inside Prison: Building a Foundation for Success
We meet offenders before release to create a tailored support plan.
Needs Assessment – Identifying housing, mental health, skills, and family ties.
Practical Prep – Helping replace lost IDs, apply for Universal Credit in advance, and secure NHS registration.
Mentorship – Connecting participants with former offenders who’ve successfully rebuilt their lives.
We’re there on release day to prevent homelessness and crisis.
Immediate Support – Transport to safe accommodation, a welcome pack (phone credit, Oyster card, toiletries).
First 24 Hours – Escorting participants to critical appointments (job centres, GP surgeries, housing offices).
Crisis Prevention – Emergency food, SIM cards, and referrals to warm hubs if needed.
